This latest version is very user friendly. This software can find hidden networks too unlike the default windows software. Its also free

Better alternative for the default WinXP app. A lot of functions (of course more professionals than in windows tool), more informations about connection/network/hardware and better stability of WiFi connection.
My wifi seems to be more stable using the intel software rather than the default Windows XP managment.
If my school didn't force me to use this I would not use it.
Many laptops today come with Intel wireless cards, but do not have the Intel software installed, instead installing less functional branded drivers. If you have one of these laptops, I would urge you to install the intel software! You will get vast range and speed improvements on most networks, and a more stable wireless connection.
