Simply the best Java development tool out there.
I use Eclipse.
IDEA rocks!
The best code editor!
The best Java IDE. Native support for most of major frameworks and servers.
Always miles ahead of competition.
I have so many problems with IDEA on the Mac. It is a great IDE. But it really is neglected on Mac. Riddled with bugs and performance problems.
Unfortunately, Eclipse and NetBeans are even worse with Mac support. So IDEA is it. Win by default.
The best JavaIDE!
The best IDE for java
Best IDE when it comes to refactoring or dealing with huge project. Its maven support is by far the best I have seen, it only crashes a few time when stacktraces are too long in test phase.
Great, just abit slow on startup.
Powerful refactor function methods and code analysis. Best IDE in writing new stuffs with legacy app where much of refactor job must be done before moving on.
IntelliJ IDEA is THE BEST IDE I have ever used. I also think it is the best Java IDE out there in the market. I like NetBeans and Eclipse (in that order) but IDEA is far superior than both of them.
Not the best Java IDE, but also the best IDE I have ever seen. Compare to any open source and major company IDEs like eclipse, netbeans, oracle, borland or microsoft! Its coding tools and abilities, nothing even comes near! But in GUI tools I prefer Netbeans personally for Java programming. For VS users, you can also think of resharper plugin, without which, VS is nothing we can say.
The best IDE for java I've ever seen. Compared to Eclipse, Netbeans and Borland products.
