Invite Share is a community centered around private invitations to exclusive websites and web applications. Users seeking invitations add their email to a list, and can climb the list (emails at the top of the list receive an invite faster) by giving invites out to other people who need them. After giving out an invite, the email is taken out of the system when it is confirmed. Users are ranked by invites given out; so, a user with 100 invites sent (and confirmed) will have priority over someone with 95 invites sent. It should be noted that the email listing is free to browse, so priority isn't strictly enforced. However, it is generally understood that users seeking to just get rid of spare invites will choose the easiest and most visible invitees, e.g., those at the top of the list.
