Users of this program should consider using Hamana instead. (http://wakoopa.com/software/hamana)

I downloaded a few flash games off the internet, but couldn't get them to work. Then I found this brilliant application, which let me play the games! It's free, too!

Great image viewer, the icons are so bad I had to edit the registry so Windows would show the default icons.

Awesome for viewing images, screenshots etc. Awesome for batch image conversion/renaming. Lightweight, gets the job done. Interface is a bit scattered and hard to follow. But it works.

    Stranded on a deserted island...

If you find yourself stranded on a deserted island with a working laptop and limited space to choose a photo or graphics program - Irfanview - is my choice hands down.

It is a small program that loads quickly and gives you a universe of potential and flexibility.

Quick. Easy. It gets the job done.

I still think this one is the best, it's one of the few image viewer has a launch speed compare to windows default viewer on viewing images(another is ACDsee 2.44), others like FS maxview, ACDsee newer version, picasa, xnview is not that fast, some of them is just 0.1-0.2 second slow to launch but it is enough long for me.

The interface of irfanview brings you too Win2000 feel, but it's nothing, purpose of using irfanview is doing everything the sooner the better, so fancy interface will only distract you from your work. On this point, I should say its Win2000 style interface is good instead of bad.

You should not use irfanview doing a big image management, it's not the right way to use irfanview and you should not say irfanview sucks. For a small image management, irfanview maybe still very handy to use.

And I don't like manage every kind of files by a specialized tool, it will make my life hard.
