iTerm is a full featured terminal emulation program written for OS X using Cocoa. iTerm is aiming at providing users with best command line experience under OS X. The letter i represents a native Apple look and feel of the program interface, and an emphasis on complete international support. iTerm was merged from two projects, CTerminal and TerminalX, both of which were based on JTerminal project. The current version is still in beta stage. It is however very much functional and usable.

a terminal i tested but diden't like that much after i found Visor
iTerm used to crash a -lot- before, but at the moment it rarely crashes!
iTerm just does what it has to do!
Better than Terminal.app, but still a term, eh
iTerm is very awesome, because of this, we no longer need Terminal on our Mac, tabbed feature is great, i use this for daily basis working, nice software for who loves console interfae
Throw Terminal.app out the door. iTerm is the only program you should be using when requiring a CLI on OSX. It is fast, simple and has all the features that Terminal.app lacks and then some (tabs).
