iTerm is a full featured terminal emulation program written for OS X using Cocoa. iTerm is aiming at providing users with best command line experience under OS X. The letter i represents a native Apple look and feel of the program interface, and an emphasis on complete international support. iTerm was merged from two projects, CTerminal and TerminalX, both of which were based on JTerminal project. Edit
iTerm has more and better features than to Terminal.app, but it's just too slow!
iTerm is far better than Terminal, but it still has some issues like nonintuitive menus.
If you're a command-line junkie like me, iTerm will make you realize how crappy Terminal is.
Checking it out.. :D
Perfect terminal. Free, tabs managing is a greatfull feature, interface is really nice. A must have !
A good replacement for Terminal.app. I'm very happy with its bookmarks system. All my servers and special shells are only a click away. In addition to that, configurable profiles for keyboard, display and terminal that tie into the bookmarks system makes the configuration possibilities almost endless.
very nice terminal replacement. The use of tabs is very nice. Also i like the transparency, just because it looks nice and fancy :-)
Excellent replacement for the standard OSX terminal.
a real must have for a software developer such as myself, one of the first things I would install on a new mac.
iterm is better than osx terminal.
My day to day sysadmin weapon of choice :)
a terminal i tested but diden't like that much after i found Visor
iTerm used to crash a -lot- before, but at the moment it rarely crashes!
iTerm just does what it has to do!
Better than Terminal.app, but still a term, eh
