iTunes is a digital media player application, introduced by Apple in 2001 at Macworld Expo in San Francisco for playing and organizing digital music and video files. The program is also an interface to manage the contents on Apple's popular iPod digital media players. Additionally, iTunes can connect to the iTunes Store (provided an internet connection is present) in order to download purchased digital music, music videos, television shows, iPod games, audiobooks, various podcasts, and feature length films.

Helps iTunes?
This is the only music software I will ever use until someone comes out with my ideal configuration, which would would include a more robust id3 tagger and hands over complete control of music library folder organization from right within the app.
I know of and have used other music software but for me its all about the unobtrusive interface. I have yet to use a more simplistic and efficient GUI on any other app.
i find myself in front of my music library too often to ignore itunes is now a part of my life.
rly, dresdesign? o.O

fantastic integration with other software on the mac. Podcasts, radio, audiobooks.. this app does everything you could want in a piece of music software.
there are no enough good words to describe it =D
强大的音乐管理软件~
Fantastic music manager but recently have been experimenting with songbird.
Not sure I would use anything else...
rock on.
there are two iTunes applications listed with the exact same description
Slow and clunky on Windows, but runs fine on Mac OS. I wonder why :P. It's a pretty good application.
I can be your hero, baby.
I can kiss away the pain.
I will stand by you forever.
You can take my breath away.
