It maps your key to iTunes, and stay at the background. I can't find other program that offer the same functionality.
The song notifications should run as inactive windows and not active ones, it interrupts working with other things that require constant focus, such as writing text or scrolling.
It needs ironing out, the notifications could use personally customized format and prettying up, and the default tray-click shortcuts could use improving. But it does the job it's supposed to very well.
