This might be the best Twitter app on the web. iTweet exposes all of Twitters features but really shines in its ease of use. Frequently used features - looking up profiles, retweeting, and direct messaging are within clicking distance of each tweet. Hashtags are supported (they're clickable; clicking one will display all conversations with that hashtag) as are TwitPic, symbols, and a URL shortener. Replies and Direct Messages are listed under their own tabs, which is very convenient for a quick check to see if you "got any messages while you were out." There's also a neat feature with each Tweet that lets you click a "in reply to" link to see what the Tweet refers to. It's clear that a lot of thought went into designing their interface.

I've found their search feature to be comprehensive - and more importantly - reliable. It's often worked for me when Twitter's wouldn't.

The interface is kind of neat, especially when you need a quick way to follow a discussion (#something) without downloading any client.
