Discovery is the main word for me: its just the best way to discover new artists and music.
Jamendo also do a great job in suggesting new songs to listen to.
I know everything was said by people before me... I love free music, and free music can be better than else :) Jamendo brings music revolution to our ears, for FREE.

Perfect to support musicians around the world...
This website is the best thing going in CC content. The site contains lots of good music if you're willing to wade through the masses. The interface can be a little confusing at times, as well as slow when negotiating the pop-out player and the main site, but is otherwise very usable. I can't suggest this site highly enough. (I even turn off Adblock Plus just because I believe in them so much.)

Great site! Only issue I had was a bug here and there with their site player, but it was intermittent. Great music, open artists - what music should be about. I will buy these artists music any day because they are WILLING to SHARE it.

Best music site on the internet, the only issue is the wonkiness of the new-window Jamplayer. All the music you'll find here is free, and most of it is awesome. I recommend listening to the likes of Chronique, Etherdust, Fresh Body Shop, Rob Costlow, Matti Paalanen, and of course, Brad Sucks. Do take the plunge and donate to an artist or two that you end up listening to all the time.
