I use both OpenOffice and Word, and like them because you can do so much with them. there is something to be said for a simple yet powerful word processor. Jarte has a really intuitive interface, which you cannot say about either OO or Word. unless you need the heavy-duty features of Word or OO I do not think you miss much of anything with Jarte. it is fast, lightweight, and full of the features you need the most. I am really impressed.
