Although lacking a straight-forward graphical user interface for selecting opponents, chatting, and viewing lists like "pieces exchanged" or "suggested moves", Jin offers a feature-rich environment to get your chess on. Most "command" are entered at a command prompt, and remembering both the commands available and their syntax adds a slight learning curve for newer users. Still, the game has enormous potential, and being Open Source, the price is very appealing...
