JkDefrag is a disk defragmenter and optimizer for Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista/2008/X64. Completely automatic and very easy to use, fast, low overhead, with several optimization strategies, and can handle floppies, USB disks, memory sticks, and anything else that looks like a disk to Windows. Included are a Windows version, a commandline version (for scheduling by the task scheduler or for use from administrator scripts), a screensaver version, a DLL library (for use from programming languages), versions for Windows X64, and the complete sources.

I like this program and Defraggler by Piriform the best of the free ones out there.
Very fast, stable, and works great as a screensaver for optimizing. Defrags better than Diskeeper and PerfectDisk for me.
Lovely to use an an screensaver on Vista.
Now, this a damn good defrag. Removed diskeeper to replace with this. I like the customizations using the command line and batch file syntax.
Open source, fast, and good. Equivilates to any commercial defragger.
Works pretty well, has a few innovative ideas that commercial defraggers haven't come around to implementing yet, and it's open source too! That said, I think defragging doesn't have to be done every day. Let it be an occasional maintenance item.
it works great, if you get a virus free version....but other than that its great.....
