The best out there today!
It's just plain better than Powerpoint.
I LOVE keynote. I am a consultant trainer and use presentations all of the time. I used PowerPoint for many years before discovering the delights of OSX and keynote. I now try and use the whole iWork suite as much as possible over Microsoft Office, and Keynote really is the jewel in the crown.
Keynote beats PowerPoint and all the rest presentation apps out there.
Best Presentation App ever
This program is my only presentation tool. The ability to create presentations that just look phenomenal with less effort than I would have to use to create them in powerpoint is awesome. Add the sexy transitions and eloquent default themes, and you have a powerhouse presentation program for even the most newbie presenter out there. The price is what's so awesome though because you get Pages (Fabulous page layout, pretty much poo for word processing) and Numbers (Excel on beauty steroids) in the mix for $80. If you dont own it, buy it. . . well worth the cash.
I am a self confessed Mac addict, so when Apple brought out it's version of Powerpoint, I jumped at the chance to get and use it. In typical fashion I was making beautiful elegant presentations, almost immediately out of the box. Each time I use it I discover more and more great features.
It lacks lots of features and options. However, i still prefer it over Powerpoint, way better!
the motion is superb the quality of shades/text/objects are much better too.
I love keynote. Takes a little getting used to, just go through some docs and then all is good.
The best presentation app on the mac and on every computer! Keynote has everything you need in a presentation app and many other cools things. Its fast and easy to use. You can build a professional looking presentation in just a few minutes.
i love the smart transitions! dont know what powerpoints are without them!
This is one of my fav software, after using, my presentations never had the "Gates tyle".
Keynote is a magnificent presentation tool that blows PowerPoint out of the water in just about every way: ease-of-use, font rendering, images, transitions, beautiful shadows, and more.
Better then Microsoft PowerPoint to me. Much more easier to use and i can be more creative on here as well.
This is a game changer in presentation tools. What i mean by it is that it's the first presentation tool that lets you DESIGN, presentations that look absolutely beautiful.
It integrates incredibly well with the Adobe environment, for instance copy a selection of work in illustrator and paste it directly into your Keynote presentation, complete with alpha layers etc.
It also has basic, but great looking transitions that really allow you to add a sophisticated touch that Powerpoint could never offer.
I've done everything from presentations, to basic design to animations on it.
It really is awesome. Give it a go.
