This is a game changer in presentation tools. What i mean by it is that it's the first presentation tool that lets you DESIGN, presentations that look absolutely beautiful.

It integrates incredibly well with the Adobe environment, for instance copy a selection of work in illustrator and paste it directly into your Keynote presentation, complete with alpha layers etc.

It also has basic, but great looking transitions that really allow you to add a sophisticated touch that Powerpoint could never offer.

I've done everything from presentations, to basic design to animations on it.

It really is awesome. Give it a go.

A very nice presentation tool. I love this much more than power point. I paid $59 for this on ebay (08 version) and I still think this worth more than that money.

After using PowerPoint for many years it is very refreshing to be using Keynote full time. It is much better than PowerPoint and makes making presentations a much more enjoyable experience. The export options also give you a lot of flexibility in delivering presentations in a variety of formats.

An excellent piece of software for creating keynotes and presenting. Especially combined with an iPhone or mac remote it's awesome to use.

Keynote is one of the best tools I've worked with. Professional, stable. Sorry PowerPoint!

Nothing beats Keynote for preparing presentation slides... nothing! Cube rotate looks a million bucks. I like Keynote as it makes all my presentations look good by default, PowerPoint makes them look ugly be default.

A presentation program that is far better than Microsoft PowerPoint, especially the Mac version. The way it handles aligning graphics and rendering text is far better than PowerPoint. I find that I work a lot faster, mostly because it performs better than PowerPoint. The only thing I would like them to add is a simple Keynote Viewer application for Windows, because exporting to PowerPoint does not produce results as good as using Keynote itself to present.

If you give presentations even on an irregular basis, Keynote alone is reason enough to get a Mac. There's a chasm of quality and esthetics with all other presentation packages. Software is no substitute for thinking through your presentation, but once you get to writing it out, it is essential.

I think that Keynote is about 1,000 times better than PowerPoint. It's so much easier to use--it's very intuitive--and the presentations it creates have a very smooth, well-designed look to them. The included templates actually have style! :-)
