Last.fm is an Internet radio station and music recommendation system that merged with sister site Audioscrobbler in August 2005. The system builds a detailed profile of each user's musical taste, comprising the songs played on its stations selected via a collaborative filter, or optionally, recorded by a Last.fm plugin installed into its users' music playing application. The profile is visible on a customizable web page, enhanced by limited social networking features, and can recommend and play artists similar to the user's favourites.

last.fm is the best!!!
Cool radio stations and decent music suggestions. Consumes negligable resources when idling/scrobbling. I don't use the site's friend system.
Good programm for scrobbling for Windows and Mac OS, it understands all of popular players for Windows. But my Last.fm on Mac OS sometimes looks unstable. And iPod Scrobbling doesn't work good.
