Most useful tool I have I guess... I use it continuously, for launching
applications, browsing my files, and even for calculations and conversions
(using google's GCalc plugin). I use it more than anything... so why doesn't
Wakoopa register it?
This was my first command launcher. I've since switched to F.A.R.R. The
nice thing about Launchy is that it requires no configuration. You just install
it and run it. It can be configured, but you don't have to.
The major reason I switched from Launchy is that it has a cached index. If
you install an application you either have to go into Launchy and refresh the
index, or wait 10 minutes until it runs the update. I got tired of having it
run (and take up CPU while it ran) every 10 minutes.
Perfect tool for keeping the desktop clean
The fastest quicksilver replacement for windows ... and now linux, though I use Gnome DO on Linux
Excellent program. Once you get used to it, you cannot imagine life without it.
My No 1 programme launcing tool.
Wish it liked my XP x64 machine better. Love it on my Mini 9. Everything's just a couple keystrokes away.
great tool
Hotkey + some letters = program launching, as easy as it can be
One of the basics in my PC, it helps to keep my desk clean :)
The damned thing just works.
This is so useful application. I really hate too many icons on my desktop, but there's Launchy :).
Excellent tool. It helped me to end with the shortcuts on my desktop
