LeechFTP hasn't been changed since 1999, but it still does the trick: bookmarks arranged in folders (see screenshot), folder-ftp, compare directories.... And, you can connect to another server while your batch keeps running on the first. And you can watch the ftp queue, threads, downloads and failures together with all commands and responses and a 2pane view of the local and remote folder. Great little program. LeechFTP has a feature to check for updates from within the program, you can access this in the Tools menu. A small dialog will show up and tells you whether there is a newer version or not. This is done by connecting to this server, so you have to be connected to the Internet.

simple, free, awesome.
the best ftp client with wonderful threads and queue management. wish to have an updated one.
Although it hasn't been changed since 1999, it has all the features I need. I keep 11 bookmarks in 7 folders, it shows the (up/download) queue, active threads, downloads and failures in tabs, it shows all commands (like pwd, rest, syst, cwd) and responses, it can compare a local with a remote directory. And, it can connect to another server while processing a batch to the previous server. My kinda program!
simple less features but works like a charm!

Simple but kinda ugly looking ftp prog. It also doesn't have many features...
