The 2nd most popular action game on Windows
… More EditSet in the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning Left 4 Dead, the #1 co-op game of 2008. This co-operative action horror FPS takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns. You'll play as one of four new survivors armed with a wide and devastating array of classic and upgraded weapons. In addition to firearms, you'll also get a chance to take out some aggression on infected with a variety of carnage-creating melee weapons, from chainsaws to axes and even the deadly frying pan. You'll be putting these weapons to the test against (or playing as in Versus) three horrific and formidable new Special Infected. You'll also encounter five new “uncommon” common infected, including the terrifying Mudmen. Helping to take L4D's frantic, action-packed gameplay to the next level is AI Director 2.0. This improved Director has the ability to procedurally change the weather you'll fight through and the pathways you'll take, in addition to tailoring the enemy population, effects, and sounds to match your performance. L4D2 promises a satisfying and uniquely challenging experience every time the game is played, custom-fitted to your style of play.

it feels like a more Complete L4D game than its predecessor. I did purchase the game, but it was at the 33 dollar price point(I bought the 4 pack with friends). Otherwise, I would not have purchased it at full price. The southern backdrop actually works much better than I expected, and the dialogue of Ellis and Coach makes for a few laughs. Overall, it's good, but definitely not a huge overhaul of the franchise.
i love the game , the campaign can be hard but once you know what to do its fun and thrilling to do it, and the melee weapons are just awesome ;)
I played the demo and I was not impressed. There was a lot of gross scenes and it wasn't clear how to play. Doubt I will buy it.
I like it but it feels as something is missing from the original.
The intro for this game is the best I have ever seen!
I am tempted but not won over.
PS: The spitters are right bitches. :P
FUCKING GREAT! :D
SHIT. FUCKING. SUCKS.
I've been enjoying the Demo so much that I keep playing it over and over. The extra detail in the zombies (especially when you cut them up!) really makes it a lot more fun to play. Explosions actually send infected flying instead of just turning them into a red mist. Having some of it set in the daytime makes it feel a bit more realistic (It's not night time all the time now is it?) and provides a bit of a relax compared to constant darkness.
Bas: nee joh das juist vet.
the levels of this game are too bright.
I prefer the original L4d... This sequel lacks the "horror" feel...
I love the demo just wish they would lower the price to at least 30 dollers
Eh, this is just the same game with different content. I'm not going to buy it until the price goes below €20 or something.
I liked this game so much that i'd buy it!
It's better than the first :)
After playing this i dont think im going to buy it.
Good, but nowhere near as good as TF2
