Better than Shelfari, Goodreads and countless other similar services that I've tried. LibraryThing now holds over 700 of my books, all neatly catalogued. Also very good for recommendations, discussion and they even have regular book giveaways (in exchange for short reviews). I've been a 'lifetime' member for a couple of years now and wouldn't be without it.
I love this site. I signed up for the Pro account. I think I have over 250 books indexed. A very cool site.
I signed up just on a whim to test it out and didn't liked it. I wanted to delete my account but I couldn't. How? I prefer Goodreads and Shelfari over this.
Je crois que c'est le seul service pour lequel j'ai accepté de payer une licence à vie.C'est tout dire...
A great book database. I used it to find some covers for audio books I ripped. It actually has a great collection of book covers, including ones pulled from Amazon and ones uploaded by members. Based on search results, they seem to have a pretty extensive listing of books, though I didn't explore much.
not bad :)
A great way to track your books and reading habits. They even have a monthly book giveaway (although not many come to Australia). I actually wasn't aware of a cost - obviously I haven't added enough books.Seems like other sites might be better for interaction like discussion on books
Not as good as Shelfari & GoodReads.
Great for the first 200 books. Then pay the $25.00 for lifetime use.
Personally, I use BookCat and can post whatever I want, wherever, I want.
Great web 2.0 app for keeping track of your own library, and sharing with others
