Very fast file finder with many options.
free, extremely fast and resource friendly. if you don't care about indexing file contents, this one is highly recommended.

extremely quick and unlike other desktop search packages it is very small and light on resources, plus the databases are only 30-50mb rather than in the gigs.
if only it had "scout bot" section as in Avafind in it, and had an instant update option. i would definitely use this one.

Программа Locate32 кэширует имена файлов и осуществляет поиск по этому кэшу по горячей клавише. Учитывая, что я крайне редко ищу файлы по содержимому, пользоваться монстрами вроде Google Desktop Search или кажется мне излишеством, кроме того и работают программы-конкуренты медленнее, и по имени файла удобно не ищут.
Кэширование происходит по нужным местам жёсткого диска и сетевых дисков, по расписанию, при необходимости — в разные базы.
Рекомендую пользоваться этой программой — чрезвычайно удобно!
