Logitech Harmony One is a great remote, but the bundled configuration software could be improved. It could be quite challenging for non-techy users, and configurating/updating the remote takes a long time.

I have a Logitech Harmony One and use this program to configure it. There are no alternatives to this program as far as I know.
The good thing about it is, that it automatically updates without user interaction, so you always have the latest remote-codes. It also recognizes the remote plugged in on USB.
The bad is, that you cannot use this tool if you have no internet connection, which is very bad.

This could be a five star app but needs lots of work still.

Great little application but needs to move away from being a website inside a frame, this is slow and causes some problems. Works well if you take the time but a native application would be better.
