Good maps!
Used it to find a location in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but it turned out nothing. Useless for me.
For a reluctant driver like I, MapQuest is a lifesaver. The first time I drive to a new place, I will always check MapQuest to make sure my directions are correct. Sure, there's GPS, but it's always a good idea to know alternative routes and whatnot.
Other times, I just use it to check distances and travel time from one location to another for fun.
Mapquest used to be my go-to direction finder for all my trips. Unfortunately for Mapquest, countless contenders have popped up that best them, and they haven't done a lot to expand on what they do. Still though, it is a very useful service, it's very accurate, and I still use it on occasion. Generally however I use google maps.
Mapquest works good for basic mapping etc..
Before the days of google maps and [affordable] GPS hardware to put in cars, I'd use mapquest printouts to go place to place. It revolutionary at the time. It wasn't that perfect, however, and getting to my destination was a hit or miss.
A perpetual battle of the Mapsters. This is okay but I prefer Google Maps and heck no to MS stuff.
