I've been a MasterCook recipe management software user for 11 years. AWESOME and CHEAP. Myself and thousands of online friends say: stop looking around at inferior programs. Yes, they really are inferior. Trust us who do lots and lots of recipe formatting, importing/exporting, sharing, etc: this is the program you want to throw that $10 or $20 bucks at! If there were better, my many online friends and I would RUSH to get it. Mastercook 9 has been perfected by help from thousands of dedicated users over the years. Any version OF MC is great, but v9 has all the latest user cool features and is the fastest and most sturdy. You have make your own cookbooks or download cookbooks...as many as you want. Meet others online who are happy to share recipes from their OWN Mastercook collections. Be careful, it's all very addictive. ;) PS: Recent versions of Mastercook are PC only. If you have a Mac, look for older versions up thru V4.
