max 5 is great as it's much more convenient and can be programmed very fast. A little bit expensive, but great universal app!
Great piece of work ! Max is an IDE for multimedia purposes.
The new interface is very user-friendly. Great tool for non-programmers, and a lot of fun for audio/visual programmers.
a fantastic piece of software, but it has always suffered from a very complicated and non-standard interface, much in the same way emagic's logic has. but just like logic, it has now (since version 5) finally been rewritten and completely overhauled. hopefully this will open the eyes of a much broader audience to let them see what this software really is capable of..
