horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sombdy tell me how to dwnlod
Very annoying. Constantly asks you to update it no matter how many popups you disable, and after downloaded, pesters you to restart your computer.
Causes almost as many problems as AOL software does.
WORST ANTI-VIRUS EVER
it has annoying pop ups, alerts, started to piss me off. Also has a damn tendency of blocking my programs doing its work. Such as I am trying to upload a page , with dreamweaver a new site, or a page; ooops you can not do that! So dangerous. This big brother watching you attitude is killing me. Leave alone my programs! Include Norton and McAfee VirusScan treats the clients PC or laptop like a little child. Do not do this , do not do that. You really need to tweak a lot to get right permission to do stuff. I sure get tired of it.
great program, but like Window Automatic updates, this bugs you every 2 days to restart your computer, and sometimes crashes my games, but overall, its a useful program
McAfee Virus Scan Plus is free with an AOL screen name. You get McAfee Firewall, VirusScan and Antispyware all in one package.
Cant speak for other people (because I'm aware of the numerous problems people have with McAfee) but it installed smoothly on my machine and has run smoothly since the installation. I'm not sure if it's because the Windows Vista version is smoother or not, but it was up in running in less than you can make a bowl of noodles.
Interface looked sharp though a little convoluted (I still havent discovered everything). The Firewall also seemed responsive and hasn't slowed down connections. Virus scan went through all of the Eicar (fake virus) tests smoothly, and passed the Spycar tests (fake spyware) with ease. So in other words, it's dependable.
Naggles include a noticeable system system slowdown, VirusScan is a little weak compared to other Antiviruses in terms of detection rates. Ultimately all is forgiven when you realize; It's free so you just cant complain if it sucks because you never purchased it and can easily switch. VirusScan also may be proven to be a tad weak but it's AntiSpyware engine has proven to be strong which is really the majority of PC problems in the past five years. Top it off, most of the baddies will be deflected anyways with a surprisingly rock solid firewall and a little common sense from you.
3 in 1 for Free - That's perfect to me. Check it out.
