Best audio application EVER. I used practically every media player out there, and then I stumbled upon Media Monkey. It's the best! I have a pretty big music library and Media Monkey can handle it, organise it and much more. Maybe a bit complex when you first use it, but you get used to it really fast if you just take the effort. Pro version is a must! It totally beats the living shit out of Windows Media Player, Winamp, Foobar2k and all that stuff. Don't even mention how much better it is than iTunes.
Great for neatly organizing large music libraries. It also offers other interesting features such as sound level normalizing.
Using the auto tag and auto play list features. Really cool.
i used it for a just week and then uninstall..why?
better check it yourself..=p
Search feature is unbeatable. I have thousands and thousands of songs and MediaMonkey is the only application I've found that can handle that big of a library. DJ mode is great for parties. Tagging feature is very robust. Have to buy the full version for file monitoring--to me, it was worth it.
Love it. A little complex but very powerful. Best feature is the ability to rip from your ipod.
so lets see
@ Charles, you got Itunes 9.0 on you're computer, download the new beta at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/beta/MediaMonkey_3.1.2.1276.exe
Best music library tool. Support for winamp plugins :). iPod syncing with the option to don't delete any other files or any files with *.mp4 etc. Easy to handle over 5000+ songs :).
It seemed easy enough to use and has a number of interesting features. My primary problem, and not a small one, is that when I try to use it to play something from my library it crashes.
I need this program to listen to my music at work from my iPod. I can't import my music on my computer on my work because there isn't enough space
PERFECT. I was wondering for a while too find a good music manager and Media Monkey is all it could be. and whith some lyrics' plugins ... it gave me all i wanted from it . it is way much better than Itunes and others ...
An excellent music library manager with hands down the best podcast managment features available on the market. Tag management is also great: being able to fetch album art and song ID3 tags automatically from Amazon.com is a boon. My only gripe would be the occasional instability and the limited skins available.
The best music manager. Can't go wrong with this. Works very well with ipod on windows (why do people still use iTunes is beyond me) and does a decent job of dj'ing for a party.
THE ultimate music management software. Makes everything super easy, use it to sink all my playback devices, rename files, rip music, convert files (for smaller footprint, ideal for mp3 devices), easily set up multiple custom views so I can set up multiple 'virtual' media libraries etc. Excellent piece of software. I assume foobar2000 probably offers a lot of similar functionality but MediaMonkey does it OOTB.
