Worst open-source kit. I can't understand, why I must d/l whole bunch of things like WMP, MSSQL and some other crap. Why WMP MUST be v11? Why I can't use MPC, VLC and similar OSS?
No-no! I tired of d/l-ing the stuff needed, then I will not install that piece of sh.t.

I don't like mediaportal much. I did not find my TV Card. When I was installing mediaportal it almost crashed my computer
It was a huge pain to set up, and then it didn't like my tuner. I resort to using the rubbish software that came with it. Bleh.
awesome alternative to Windows Media Center, it plays anything you want it to play it. Great front end for my home theater PC. Both thumbs up
