The most popular messenger on Windows
… More EditWindows Live Messenger, commonly referred to by the previous names of MSN Messenger or MSN for short, is an advertisement-supported instant messaging client for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows Mobile, first released on July 22 1999 by Microsoft. I've used Messenger since 2000 and I've always loved it the most out of all the messenger programs. I've always felt that it was more reliable, and it is, and whenever there's an issue there's a site you can go to to see if the Messenger service is down for whatever reason.
What's to say? It just works! All the other services except for AIM are pretty unreliable.
Messengers that aggregate several services are particularly frustrating.
Everyone has WLM. The world would be a simpler place if everyone used it!
just rate it.
Very good chat client, has all the features, very fast performance, neat interface. All it need is to improve it video chat and thats it. It's way better than iChat!
Using it ever since v 1.0!
I love this and i use it along with Skype and Yahoo. The only drawback in it is the disability to use it with very low internet connections.
I like it, but offline :)

Windows Live Messenger, it's the 'new' name for 'MSN Messenger' is an Instant Messenger made by Microsoft. Ever since the 'renaming' it is just getting more and more bloatware. The newer versions are offering features, like being able to signed on on multiple locations. (Other IM networks supported this for years)
It seems, at microsoft, they care morea about 'eye candy' then about real features. Their communication protocol is rather complicated to make it harder to create a compatible client that supports all features, and leave out the bloat.
i thing that qip is better one
The only and best chat client. I use it all the time.
It is surely not a good product. There are several other chatprograms that are way better.
But, as with every other single MS product, still a lot of people just use it cause it's the standard. Most people just use this one cause it's the only one they know, they installed it cause they heard of it from friends, and why trying smth else if it works...
the best client to chat to all your friends.
good msn
Best WLM client for windows, it supports everything it's mac counter-part doesn't. Great program.
