It's simple tool just for simple need!
Haven't used a download manger since Go!Zilla during my dial up days. Only thing useful is that it keeps track of what I've downloaded recently and placed in a single folder.
I haven't tried pausing and restarting, since my largest downloads are usually only a few hundred megabytes.
The bottom line is that I've had problems with it. There have been cases when MiniDM wouldn't download documents. I never got down to the bottom of it, but if the download manager can't download, it's pretty useless to me. We'll see how it progresses.
