This used to be called Democracy Player, didn't it? I stopped using it after
the name change.. might have to give this another shot, although no Veoh access
is a shame.
It's a pity you can't stream movies, you always have to download them first.
If it worked like youtube, just by stream the movies, I would love it even more,
now I just watch a webseries on occasion. It is great to keep track of the
different webseries you want to follow, it automatically downloads the newest
episodes.
This thing is fantastic! It will play nearly any video format! Plus, the
torrent downloading features seems to work faster than uTorrent even. My only
gripes are that you can't see quite as much info as I'd like about active
torrents, and I didn't see a way to minimize videos that are being played to see
the rest of the application, though you can open your videos in a separate
window.
Still, I have a feeling this is going to replace quite a few video players
and my former torrent program.
Guys! Listen up!
Please stay with Miro 1.2.8 if you want a stable Miro.
Miro 2.0 is still buggy and underdevelopment.
Do not upgrade until further version/bugs is fixed!
Miro 2.0 is not downgradeable to Miro 1.2.8
It is definately buggy, but still very good. I have all my vidcasts in miro,
wish they did podcasts as well just so I would only have one place for my
'casts'
Miro is great and has the potential to be the ultimate media client. It can
handle almost anything including torrents.. Is super fast especially for their
content they serve feeds 2 etc.. Digg etc..
Using it to view TED talks in HD. Much simpler than going to TED.com and downloading the HD talks. Found some other good channels too.

Great tool for keeping track of syndicated shows, works well and has no problems aside from the fact that it recommends so long dead shows.

New version is a vast improvement, but still needs much improvement in the performance area.
Just started using Miro 2 and happy to say it's even better now and not a hog on my system
Use it to download YouTube Video Feed automatically.

A great video playing.torrent app.
bugged, but has the killer function of updating itself with my feeds and folders
It's buggy, and bloated, and oh so useful, despite itself.
