It's a great service, but expensive... if you have an iPhone/iPod Touch its a
great option, but not the only one... (Google also can sync with this gadgets)
:)
It runs great on mac, but like most other mac software, runs absolutely
appalling on Windows. its a secret apple ploy to slow down windows so much they
get a mac ;) :L
There was no box to exclude mobile me when I installed iTunes. I suddenly
bumped into this in my control panel. Removed it as soon as I found out about
it. Like most Apple software it's good on Mac, but they have no clue how to make
decent Windows software.
To all the complaining Windows users: When you installed Safari or iTunes
there was that HUGE box that asked if you wanted to install additional
components (mobile me control panel for windows for one) and you left the
checkbox marked YES. Don't explicitly ask for something and then have a hissy
when you get it. I'm the first to admit, Apple software doesn't work well on
Windows and Windows users should avoid it.
This is malware for many people; good for some. I consider any application
that foists itself upon users without their desire to explicitly install it to
be malware. Malware being something undesirable (didn't deliberately install
it), damaging to the computer (steals processor cycles and memory), and/or a
privacy threat. Shame on Apple for sneaking this into product updates. The next
update should include an option to safely remove the software if the user
doesn't want it.
After getting a new macbook pro which comes with a standard trial of mobile
me,I tried mobile me as I’ve always wanted a .mac account and after many
attempts to set up my account, talking with tech support live and through
instant messenger I finally gave up when tech-support stated they could not help
me resolve the problems they could not figure out. Terrible waste of time for
what used to be a great service when it was .mac.

That's good

What @ malware? Just get a me.com account and it won't be malware! They did the same with the old .Mac accounts too so stop crying.

Unless you need the iPhone functionality, don't bother with this paid service. You can even more features from free online services.
why can't i uninstall this crappy program? Way to sneak this space-waster in the last update APPLED D:
Amazing!
Keeping my iPhone, Mac and PC synchronized everytime and on-the-go. Some upgrades with iPhone interfaces and functions are welcome.
