I really wish hovering my mouse over the icon wouldn't cause a Windows XP "Yellow Balloon" to pop up EVERY TIME.
Just a simple, free application which came with my Maxtor OneTouch drive. Of course you can use the external hard drive as a normal device without installing any software, but this small utility allows you to change a few of the drives settings. You can customize what the OneTouch button actually does (i.e. configure it to launch a certain application), you can test the drive for errors and you can also alter the period of inactivity before the disk spins down. You can also create automated back-up plans. A cool little utility thrown in with your Maxtor drive.
