The only mua that doesn't make it torturous for me to try to keep up with my mail!
Does exactly what I want, nothing else, and without any delay!
The best mail client ever! Powerful, extendible and easy to use. I love it and have optimized and customized it to perfection. My favourite part is the ability to score incoming mail with regexp so that mail matching multiple rules has a higher weight. Also the ability to colour code mail in the client.
Fast and really powerful when you know how to configure it.
Note to aolcom: I used "pine" and mutt is more powerful.
Mutt is cute, but Alpine is better.
