The 609th most popular system tool on Windows

Naviscope is a set of powerful Web acceleration and Internet tools, including Internet diagnostics, ad blocking, resolution caching, and site mapping. It includes tools to eliminate other Web annoyances, such as sounds, pop-up windows, and blinking text. It also prefetches Web pages to allow faster downloading of subsequent pages.

One of the oldest apps I still use. The first time I used it, Windows 98 was my primary operating system. As years went on, from IE to Firefox, Win98 to 2000 & XP, the only thing useful I use out of it now is its resource bars. I have yet to find the modern equivalent to this app.

I can't browse without it. I wish there was a Mac or Linux type of this app.

    Hello Renny:
    My name is Ramon

I think this is a excellent idea
I like me collaborate in this possible project
In the pass I write a extensive tutorial about Naviscope, very complete
I can collaborate translate to spanish and galician the new Naviscope
I can collaborate put information on mi website, etc

    Naviscope have some problems now:
-ad blocker is old, but on the web it is possible found ad list full
-prefetch is old, but is good, Google Web Accelerator (and othes companys, include Firefox) copy the system but never work fine
I think the new Naviscope should integration with compression images, I think in 2 programs: Toonel.net (free but old) and Artera Turbo (no update)
The Naviscope domain is buy, then we think in other domain (I can put the money for domain and hosting in a affiliate company) and the name Naviscope possible is copyrighted, then can need a new name... Navienew??

Indispensable tool for anyone who is using a browser. I am using it for years and unable to find a substitute. The floating toolbar helps in many ways. Trace Route, Ping, Ad blocker and many more. It shows what your browser is doing silently and accelerates the browsing experience by pre- fetching the pages. It shows what is being downloaded which helps you to block them. The resource bars are wonderful concept. If someone finds similar toolbar which is free post it here. I could not get the same features even in a shareware costing hundreds of dollars.

I want to rewrite Naviscope from scratch. How do you think, would it be some demand on that?

I liked how I can "see" what is being downloaded when I load web pages. Too bad it's no longer updated.
