IMO, probably the best application for burning media. Times have changed, and
during the last several years the installer has increased in size year after
year to the point that it is now considered "bloatware".
The v6 suite was at the most ~33MB, while v9 is circa 380MB. The majority of
new features are not needed by many and subsequently choose to install
"Nero Lite" or "Nero Micro" from UpdatPack.nl (I'm suprised
no one has mentioned this amazing website yet!)
The interface is quite clean, and does what you need it to and the
performance is relatively decent.
Nero 9 is advertised at £49.99 for download only, £59.99 for a boxed version,
with an additional £6.99 required for an update disc. To me these prices,
compared to other leading brands is its main downfall. They really can't be
justified, especially when there are alternatives which are free and just as
easy to use.
