a minimal installation without all new features I don't want to use. It's safe
to use an older version for ages.
A lot of functions, some very professionals. Nero burning ROM is dedicated
for more advanced users. For standard actions like burning normal CD with mp3s
or other files I recommend Nero Express - use ROM only if you need for example
multiseason disc.

mas porque já estava habituado a antiga. uso todos os dias para realizar backup
e gravar tudo o que eu preciso.
Excellent burning ROM, probably the best. Huge install bloated with extras
that cover everything under the sun. It went downhill after version 6. The bloat
is actually a good value for Windows users that want a bunch of content creation
applications. Almost useless for mac users or people who are already comfortable
picking their own software applications.

Belive it or not Nero 9 doesnt have the 'burn SVCD' so i have to use Nero 7!! But Nero 7 still does an exceptional job!!
Yes I use Nero 9 on vista I had no choice...much easier to use than Nero OEM Suite though
The last version of Nero -9.2.6.0- is very heavy: 382 MB.
What about if you only want to burn a simple CD? You need a NASA computer to do that.
If you only want burn a CD without problems and completely free just use BurnAware Free, InfraRecorder , JetBee Free or Small CD-Write.

If you download only the burning engine it's perfect. Don't get the full version - it's full of bloat and crap.
