Not only can NetBeans do wonders with Java, it can also do wonders with PHP.
As I switch between both Java and PHP often for school and work, NetBeans
accommodates me with a single IDE with the same incredible features regardless
of langauge.
For Enterprise Java development, NetBeans is the final word! This IDE has
anything and everything you can imagine for your daily Java needs. What I love
about this IDE is its out-of-the-box features. A great Java editor, Ant/Maven
support, integration with SVN/Kenai, developer collab, Java EE development,
plugins for top Java web dev frameworks, support for all kinds of app servers,
nice support for Groovy, JRuby, PHP, C++, excellent plugin support, RCP... you
name it, NetBeans has it. And with NetBeans 6.7, the on-demand feature
enablement makes it really fast to use. And the fact that it is Ant-based makes
it highly customizable. IMHO, any serious Java developer should give it a spin.
Definitely worth it...
Netbeans is a powerfull IDE.
my netbeans is tracked ok on windows, but in linux it isn't at all((.
I have Ubuntu 9.04, netbeans 6.7,
if it is important - i ran it like this -
/bin/sh "/home/user_name/netbeans-6.7.1/bin/netbeans"
So far so good. I really like all the bells and whistles in this application. Highly recommended so far.
The best IDE evar!
I use Netbeans for building GWT application.
My netbeans is not tracked
one of my favorit
Very good IDE, using it for PHP dev. Already get used to its internal formatting behaviour. More annoying problem - no trailing space strip for PHP...
Best java IDE.
Completely nice IDE. Fast and powerful. Annoyed problem - bad text formatting preferences.
Netbeans is very user friendly like Microsoft visual studio.
