Mercurial integration is flawless for me and it works pretty fast considering it's a Java app. Currently adopting it in favor of Aptana, waiting for version 1.5 of the latter to kick in.

I use this Integrated Development Environment for PHP development. Lastest versions are realy faster. So this IDE can be used as main development workbench with best price/quality ratio.

For C + +, it did not try, but in Java it is quite convenient to work

Good IDE, for some tasks better then Eclipse for some worse, but in general good, stable and fast. I like to work with it.

Buggy real time syntax checker, slow UI and not always good user experience.

I'm mostly working with Java/JSP & C/C++ all of which integrate into Netbeans really well!

IMO the current interface could do with some work. I don't really like the window dragging, I always seem to drop it somewhere I don't want it to go. UML is not so hot either. (I feel Eclipse is better in this department)
