It is Nethack. This game was made by the Gods themselves. Anything less than five stars, and I would probably be dead.
I have played this game since early eighties. It's not the best game ever but I sometimes get hooked. If you don't like dying -- make a copy of your savefile.
I die a lot too. It's a great game. The controls are a bit excessive; I keep forgetting all the keys and combinations that I don't need often; and if I haven't played a while, all of them.
Very hard to get into, but bloody awesome.
You'll die a lot.
I tried playing this, but I just can't get into it. Guess I'm not a true geek.
I play this only for the graphics.
The best game ever.
