It's what happens when you combine Orkut and MySpace - badly, and give the
finished product a theme that looks suspiciously like some amateur Joomla theme.
Of course, it has nowhere near as many "useful" applications as
Facebook (they're more useless than the MySpace ones - and I have never used
MySpace for any period of time), and it doesn't have the energy, dynamism and
interestingness of FriendFeed.
Was biggest network-site in Belgium, never popular anywhere else. Facebook
users surpassed netlog halfway last year; many have both.
Tries to be facebook rather than myspace and such.
Has an application platform (google's opensocial), but all apps are viral
ads.
Stable, less cluttered than MySpace and Hyves, doesn't have a lot of options
to customize the look of your profile though. The feature of importing contacts
from your email adress-book doesn't work properly. Doesn't have a large
community in The Netherlands.
Yo tengo una cuenta pero casi no lo utilizo porque casi ninguno de mis amigos
tiene cuenta. Me parece un buen sitio pero en mi pais no es tan popular :-/
sucks

It's the facebook for teenagers. But it can get bored after a while
I'm participating in this social network site and I like it.
i agree with VforV "sucks!"
sucks
Not a big fan, but i do like it as much as facebook :)
In Holland, mostly used by business contacts (like Linkedin)
Here in Italy it is mostly used by teenagers (13-17) in search for popularity.
They simply ruined it.
Very nice social platform. Very big in Europe and Middle-East. Nice features, which are growing. For a young and dynamic target audience.

#1 in Belgium, guess that's why it's in my usage list (or my sister used it for quiet a long time ...)
Eurocentric?
