unplugged while network is up and working fine. Is this normal?
The version in Ubuntu Jaunty is much more reliable. As with all Open Source
software, development & feature implementation is progressive and
evolving.
@yuretsz The ability to rescan wifi networks would be a nice feature to
add.
At the time of writing this, Network mangler (at least the version in
Intrepid) is a horrible piece of software that is riddled with bugs and should
not be the default in Ubuntu. It will cause you so much needless trouble if you
choose to stick with it.

It's good, it does what it says, but could use some serious improvements.

Works well, does most things, just waiting for the VPN support to be added.
A good application. It is working very nice with Gnome. However, in another environments it integrates sometimes not very well.

Easiest tool for managing network ever. The only featire it lacks for my opinion is the possibility to rescan wifi networks by a demand.
