Norton AntiVirus

I'd rather have a virus...

Norton is effective but slowly your system. Especially version to Internet secirity. I don't know the name. And Norton make problem with close proceses.

Puts the 'anti' in anti-virus :)

The gaming edition is perfect, you can't even tell that it is running in the background, i use it on my desktop gaming machine and I never have any problems with it, doesn't come up with error messages if it hasn't been updated for a while, it has a gaming mode which puts it asleep so to speak so it doesn't annoy you when your in a full screen application like a game.
So just to cap, it's the gaming edition that you want, even the 2009 version is a huge improvement over previous versions.

It's slow, it doesn't remove virusses and it doesn't do what I tell it to do, it stinks!

Wow, these negative reviews do not reflect the product at all... Although not the best anti-virus software on the market, it definitely does the job.

Norton saved my PC several times while I had it and didn't slow down my system.

What's the point of getting viruses when norton slows down your system enogh on it's own?
