the stall at 5% is temporary while it checks the last backup for incrementation. nice speedy backup internal/external or even remotely. easy to use as well.

One of the best applications from Symantec, by far. It just backs up the hard disk, allow you to burn to a CD/DVD.

Yes it may not be free, but I feel the money is worth it, peace of mind for restoring your computer.

Unfortunately, I have tried the latest version, and it just stalls at 5% when backing up, which is kinda useless.

Wow! This application is just knock-out! The best tool for backup the whole system, HDD, or just single files. You can very easily and quick restore your disk/files from image which you can put into portable disk/pendrive/DVD or at standard disk. Just boot computer from restore CD, some clicks and it's done.
Any defects? Yeah - I think it's impossible to turn off automatic boot with windows, so ghost slows down system :/ And Ghost isn't free :(
