Sadly, it's one of the best apps on Win, it's simple and handy.
It's handy. Also, it almost never crashes like other window's programs ;o
the only text editor I use, i use it for HTML work mostly
The best HTML editor, text editor, and word processor out there! Simple, no whistles, great on system resources.
One of the best working application in windows xD but don't have nothing more than copy/paste/find/replace functions ;(
worst text editor ever
Only useful just to save some text...
There is no excuse for using Notepad. There are plenty of editors which start up as quickly (the only thing NP does well) but let you actually edit text sanely.
Most easily achieved with the use of the text tool, not to replace XD.
You may think that is useless, but is one of the most important tools on Windows.
Easily my most handy program. Great for, well, keeping notes... oh, and its ability to save as any filetype is handy, too. Great for web developers who despise WYSIWYG editors and such. Like me. :)
Simple, powerful.
Only thing I use when it comes to text files.
It's great. Not a lot of function but a lot of simplicity.
Love it and hate it. If only it had an autosave feature. Simplicity at its best.
