Integration with outlook works really great.
Linking the webcam and audio features... very easy to use.

I only use it at work because that's what everyone else uses. Forced to use it at work. R2 had some good improvements, but it's still on the heavy side for what it does.

Office Communicator is a very helpful tool for communicating with project teams across offices around the world. Its integration with Outlook is great and i like its no thrills approach to communication... good a one thing and not so so at a bunch of things.
Office Communicator is a very useful tool. It's like msn messenger but for corporate contacts. Clean and easy to use. It has some disadvantages if you are an msn messenger common user because it doesn't saves the history locally but in a server, it doesn't display the messages from last conversation and it can't display emoticons added by you. However the information stored from all conversations through the enterprise in a sql database is very interesting for data mining.
Communicator's main selling point is its tight integration with MS Outlook and Exchange directories. Otherwise, it's pretty feature-poor compared to the current class leader, Digsby. Then again, IT departments tend to handicap Communicator for their own perceived security purposes. Bottom line: as a corporate tool, it works.
Corporate IM Client that gets the job done. All inside-contacts in one place. However, it does not save messages history.
I like the Tag Status Change Alerts! It's very usefull to know when someone get back to the PC.
