Use it for the bits you can't do on Google Docs!
Really great. Wish I could use a lot more features and functionality. Even a power user like me doesnt use 40% of the functionality in this great product because its just so versatile and comprehensive.
using excel to track my students grades-have 300+
Can't do without it. I manage my finances, track lists, specifications in office ... the list is long. It's refined and super useful, albeit very expensive :)
Microsoft Office Excel is a great spreadsheet Program, that came out of Redmond. Excel has a great array of features, most of which you will not use. The Ribbon interface is a great, you find everything you need with just about a click. However with a new interface brings some people up and arms. One of the biggest debates about the new Office Suite is the Ribbon interface. Some can not get used to the change, sense it is so different compared to previous versions of Office

Super@ spreadsheet programme. 2010 version is really cool.
most popular spreadsheet :)
Useful program =)
I have a lot of respect for Excel. People who diss it probably haven't tried creating anything beyond a simple table.
Excel is old and still a standard. I expect it to be knocked out of the water sometime. It was invented in 1985... XLSX is promising but still might not cut it.
used for working with spreadsheets in windows, never used any others
The Numero Uno Spreadsheet program in the world. Cheap imitations like OpenOffice, and not-so cheap ones like Numbers, don't even come close. However, its a bit of a memory hog on the Mac. Hope that improves with the next version.
cant go to school without office and excel, very good suite a little bloated though
So handy, can't run a business without this programme!
