… More EditMicrosoft Office InfoPath is an application used to develop XML-based data entry forms. It can connect to external systems using XML Web Services through MSXML and the SOAP Toolkit, and back-end and middle-tier systems can be configured to communicate by using Web services standards such as SOAP, UDDI, and WSDL. Additionally, since InfoPath documents are raw XML, it is possible to directly repurpose the data in other XML processors.

Quite a unique program that not many people know how to make use of. Forms developed in Infopath can make use of the entire .NET CLR by way of C# or VB code, in addition to direct database and/or web service connectivity. Very useful for collecting data in a controlled environment such as an office or a school.

Cool
dont know WHY i used it, but i like all of MS Office.
A great product, but not used often. People get in the habit of making forms out of MS Excel and MS Office, which can be used to make great forms but is not the ideal tool. It's like always using a sporke instead of using a fork for a spoon for the appropriate job. Sure it works but maybe not as efficently.
