OneNote is a really nice addition to the office suite. It is basically a
digitized notebook that can be used to keep notes on several subjects. You can
do the basics, such as drawing, writing, tables, automatic math computations and
more. You are given the freedom to move any of the objects around and reshape
them as necessary.
It came in handy when dealing with bug issues and support. I could keep track
of what I did on each of the issues and my steps on resolving them.
OneNote is absolutely essential if you use your computer to take notes in
meetings, classes, or webinars. Very very powerful and a great bundle in the
Office Home and Student edition.
OneNote is IT!
I use it to GTD, KB articles, scanning invoices and receipts. you can even
embed audio messages and onenote will recognize speech2text and include in your
search threw your sea of captured and entered info in onenote.
You can tag words, sentences and scans and then filter by tag. just love
it!
one thing that I wish they would finish is when you search with Windows
Desktop Search outside of onenote.
WDS does not let you preview, just shows you a icon!
I love OneNote 2007. I use it for so many things now. I really like that I
don't have to save numerous Word files. It's great for notes, organizing
information, to do lists, etc.
Great little program for saving little chunks of text easy to sort through
and my favourite feature is not having to save the file it stores it all. You
can also insert links and files and have different sections to organize your
note.
It's a really useful program that I've been using for ages. I find it to be a
great way of organising all sorts of notes, instead of e.g. having multiple .txt
files in a folder and each file having only one or two lines. Another useful
thing is how you can drag stuff around the page (or sub-page), copy and paste
and also draw and insert pictures.
A true hidden gem!
that the best software
that the best software
Onenote is the best note taking software out there. Without it I would have to go back to paper.
