The most popular email client on Windows

Microsoft Outlook or Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft, and is part of the Microsoft Office suite.

Although often used mainly as an e-mail application, it also provides a calendar, task and contact management, note taking, a journal and web browsing.

It can be used as a stand-alone application, but can also operate in conjunction with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server to provide enhanced functions for multiple users in an organization, such as shared mailboxes and calendars, Exchange public folders, Sharepoint lists and meeting time allocation.

Как-то скептически отношусь к MS продуктам, поэтому новые Outlook'и я даже не просматривал.
Мне Mozilla Thunderbird хватает для desktop клиента.

It's our mail client at work. It's a middle of the road client with a bit of clunkiness here and there. I've installed Google Desktop to index my mail - much quicker and more complete than the Outlook search.

While it's the default client for so many businesses, I have to admit I'm incredibly pleased with the improvements made to the search functions in 2007. The speed and comprehension of the search has allowed me to do away with most of the folders, rules and tricks I used which increased the complexity of my implementation. Now, I just use every search function it has!

I like Outlook. It's fairly expensive, but it's a really versatile tool for managing calendar, contacts, emails and to a lesser extent, tasks.

I really tried to like Mail on OSX but it just can't cut the mustard in my professional life. Outlook is a wonderfull application that receives far to much unconstructive criticism.

I'd be much less productive without it.

Outlook is the industry standard for email/calender applications. Works well and I have little choice but to use it at the moment

I use the software everyday in combination with exchange in my work environment. Sure, there are far better e-mail clients out there, but in combination with Exchange, outlook has the upper hand.

If it were up to me, I would use my gmail interface and e-mail for everything. ^^

A really great client in my opinion. Have tried using others, especially the thunderbird, but always end up using outlook in the end.
