As it is an application for every day use it launches itself in the background as a daemon and can be accessed using the Orage Clock plugin for the panel.

Good calendar must synchronize with on-line services, must catch up my local calendar (from evolution or sunbird) and synchronize with it. So that will make work with organizer on your mobile easily.
